The Compton Heights House Tour has become a beloved opportunity to step back in time and experience extraordinary historic homes. Held every three to four years, the tour draws thousands of attendees from the St. Louis region and beyond.

Our house tours serve as the primary fundraiser for the maintenance and improvement of the Compton Heights neighborhood. Part of our mission is to promote awareness of the rich history and architecture of the City of St. Louis; to showcase the wide variety of architectural styles found in our historic homes and the diversity of our neighborhoods; to encourage revitalization and preservation of historic homes; and to support neighborhood programs and projects.
