The purposes of the Compton Heights Neighborhood Betterment Association (CHNBA) are to:
- Improve the quality of life in the community through neighborhood improvement and beautification 
- Promote the City of St. Louis as a desirable place to live 
- Assist in creating community cohesiveness 
- Support various charitable organizations 
Your membership and contributions are used to help showcase and maintain our beautiful, historic neighborhood. Please consider becoming a member if you are not already one – every dollar counts! Dues go toward the following expenses:
- Insurance on our Community Property (Grand Point and Geyer Lots) 
- Maintenance of Properties (mowing, trimming, salting of intersections, etc) 
- Maintenance of Signs, Signposts, Gates, Entrances, Pillars, Community Sidewalks, etc. 
- Charitable Donations required by 501(c)(3) Status 
- Newsletters (printing, paper, set-up) 
- New Neighbor Welcome Events 
- Easter Parade and Egg Hunt, Halloween and Oktoberfest Events 
- Postage and PO Box Rental 
- Tax Return Preparation for Association 
- 501(c)(3) Annual Registration 
- This Website

Bylaws
Membership is open to all residents (and nonresident property owners) of Compton Heights.
